Our People: An Unsung Hero + a New Welcome!

All of us at Mission Field strive for excellence in our deliverables for our clients. We are constantly taking on unique challenges that stem from the wild and wooly world that disruptive innovations create throughout their life-cycle. It’s worth taking a moment to acknowledge the unsung heroes at Mission Field who are vital to the success of our client’s efforts but aren't often overtly acknowledged. I’d like to acknowledge Julie Beck, Vice President of Retailer Strategy for her driven entrepreneurial mindset and artful management of retailers and our client’s transactional tests through the ever-evolving world of COVID-19.

Julie’s deep & profound sales expertise with 30 years of strategic selling experience was fundamental to her managing through the massive shifts occurring with the retail industry in the past 4 months. She has helped lead cautious retailers to the waters of transactional testing by signing up multiple new retail partners in the middle of the pandemic, has artfully negotiated ways to save our clients money on data acquisition and has championed getting ahead of our clients’ needs by accumulating key shopper-behavior data that help retailers and clients to make the right strategic decision for their projects. Thank you Julie, we’re all appreciative of your hard work and strategic mindset.

In addition, I’d like to offer a warm welcome to our new Vice President, Julia Wing Larson. Julia comes to us with executive-level marketing experience from her successful growth & management of both small, emerging businesses and large, established brands. Julia has that perfect Mission Field entrepreneurial spirit and experience paired with 10 years of classical CPG training and 15 years of brand management and innovation leadership. She is a natural problem solver who quickly turns insights into action and can effectively lead large cross-functional teams, and we’re grateful to have her join our team.
